Thermal dispersion switches Thermatel® with remote electronics are available in two versions.

Thermatel® TG1 with SPDT relay output and LED flow indication.

Thermatel® TG2 with SPDT relay output and LED flow indication per NAMUR NE44.

Thermatel® TG1/TG2 switches for level and medium flow utilize thermal dispersion technology.

Probe consist of two pins with built in RTDs. One pin is heated by built in heater in order to maintain constant temperature difference with the second one pin. Presence of liquid or increase in flow causes temperature dissipation and power increase of heater. This change activates relay output of the switch.

Thermatel® TG1/TG2 switches may be used in applications for example dry run pump protection, liquid/gas flow detection, maintain of minimum liquid/gas flow rate, seal leakage detection, max/min liquid level detection or interface detection.
