SKV Shut-off ball valves

The valves are a full bore, ball valve with cylindrical bore made in dimensions from DN25 to DN500. This cylindrical bore contributes to the low pipe resistance, and is beneficial in applications of abrasive media.

SKV are valves with nominal dimeters DN25 to DN400 and pressures PN25 to PN40.

SKV series are DN25-500, up to PN50 valves with floating ball design with support from the valve seats.

Their intended use are demand applications where used as shut-off valves. These valves are usually used in refineries, chemical, power and paper plants. Full bore design do not affect loss of energy and pressure drop or flow disturbances (high Cv) when fully opened. Closed valve has good tightness even at low differential pressure, thanks to spring loaded seats.

The valve can be delivered with valve seats both in PTFE 53 (PTFE stabilized with stainless steel powder) and in HiCo (High Cobalt Alloy). HiCo (High Cobalt Alloy) seats are as option available in locked design, scraper design or a combination of both. The valve seats can be replaced without removing the actuator.
