MERCON

Diaphragm seals with a flange and internal diaphragm which is greater than the nominal size of the connector. Used when the nominal size of the collar and the same membrane would be insufficient for the proper operation of the system.
Normally available in sizes from DN10 to DN25 according to EN1092-1 standards (DIN 2501) or ANSI pressure range PN10..PN40. Performance of other standards, pozanormatywne or other sizes are available on request.

The standard range PN10 to PN40

Diaphragm used to isolate the measuring device from the aggressive, corrosive, toxic, moderately viscous or crystallising. They can also protect the instrument from a very low or high temperature process.

The principle of operation is based on the transmission of pressure via a flexible diaphragm and fill fluid on the sensing element of the instrument - Bourdon tube pressure gauge in the sensor or transducer or pressure switch.
