Diaphragm seals with better, thanks to diaphragm and flange face special materials combination, chemical resistance than standard, stainless steel only make. They are used mainly in chemical and petrochemical industry with high corrosive, aggresive and toxic media.

Diaphragm seals are used to isolate the measuring device from the aggressive, corrosive, toxic, viscous or crystallising media. They can also protect the instrument from a very low or high process temperature.

The principle of operation is based on the transmission of pressure via a flexible diaphragm and filling fluid to the sensing element of instrument - Bourdon tube or electronic sensor.
