Centurion is a guided wave radar destined for level measurement of liquids, sludge and solids in form of powder or granules.

Guided wave radar technology ensures stable level measurement in applications where pressure, temperature or medium dielectric constant changes and/or dust or foam is present.

Using special software even heavy build up on probe does not affect the measurement.

Principle of operation

Pulses in form of electromagnetic wave is transmitted along a probe. At the point where the wave meets the medium surface it is reflected and returns along a probe to the transmitter. Based on the time of flight between sending and receiving signal the transmitter calculates the level.
