Excellent working level control instruments for detecting high-, low- or mid level in silos, vessels or hoppers filled with dry grained or powdered material.

Model 219 is recommended for level measurements of bulk solids in high vessels where sensor can be mounted only from the top. Sensor hung on flexible cable allows switching much below maximum level in the vessel.

Model 220 with sensor connected to electronics housing via flexible cable and supporting chain for applications where high risk of sensor tearing off is possible.

MERCON level switches were designed especially for level measurement of dry bulk solids – from heavy aggregates, through cement, ashes to low density flakes and powders. Single probe with unique diamond shape eliminates the main disadvantage of tuning fork switches - material bridging inside fork and associated with this false switching. Additionally, mounting possibility ensures high mechanical durability (long diamond diagonal in vertical alignment) or high sensitivity in case of low density solids at 20 g/l (shorter diamond diagonal in horizontal alignment).
